I have been using P.T Plumbing for all my plumbing needs for the last 16 years. I don't consider calling any other plumbers. I just needed a repair on a PEX valve in my laundry room. I called them in the afternoon and they scheduled my repair for the next morning. The technician arrived within the stated time window. He was courteous and professional. He did a good job and the price was fair. I have hired them to install water softeners in 2 of my houses, had them locate and repair leaking pipes in my attic and repair a problem in my shower among other repairs. Here's what I can tell you about this company: This is a small business. They are honest. Their estimates are reliable, and their prices are reasonable and fair. I have never had to wait for days to get service. They always schedule my job promptly. They always show up on time, and they do the repairs correctly the first time. I have never had to call them back after a repair. Companies like this are rare. We’ve been using PT Plumbing for a number of years, but unfortunately the quality and professionalism have drastically fallen. George came out to fix our outdoor spigot and should’ve used a hose bib. Not only did he not use a hose bib, but he used a pipe that was too small. This resulted in a pipe that easily moved and ripped our wall siding off. In trying to get him to fix his mistake under the warranty, he dodged our calls for weeks. When he finally came out, he didn’t ring the doorbell or talk to us, he just started drilling into the wall. He said he saw nothing wrong with what he did before, but then asked why he hadn’t put a hose bib on initially. He proceeded to make remarks like “this is what you get for free” and “what even needs to be fixed?” And the final product was even worse than the initial. It’s now a mess of glue, plastic pieces, and a wood block drilled into our siding. We absolutely do not recommend George with PT Plumbing. I honestly don't know how these guys are still in business. They hardly ever answer their phone and the guy came late when coming to ascertain the issue we were having with our shower. He looked at it for 5 mins, and then said he would let me know when he can get it fixed, came back 10 mins later and told me they can fix it next week. We set a time for 10am. The day comes around and its 10:30am. No calls or anything. So I call the place and the lady tells me that nothing was scheduled, and that no paperwork was even done!! She said she would send someone over in half an hour though. So I held my tongue and said ok. The same guy comes 30 mins later(admitting he knew he had an appt for 10, but never called to let me know if he was gonna be late or if they cant do anything) and looks at the shower for 1 minute, and says they are waiting for the part to come at 12 today. So yes, he rushed over just to say they cant do anything, not do any actual work. A call would've been faster. Long story short, the part never came in, I called both him and the main number and no response or callback after I left a voicemail. They literally don't care. And so I just went for a different plumber. Dont use these guys. Let them go out of business. They obviously give up on customer service.Load more
